Responsibilities

• Allocate pool cars based on customer and operational needs.

• Work with customers to meet order needs as cars become available.
• Understand the markets that support pooled fleets to ensure the right balance of cars.
• Coordinate with operations on where cars need to be pre-staged.
• Work with foreign railroads as needed to manage car cycles.
• Maintain knowledge of current rules governed by the AAR and Class I policies.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
