The Equipment Control Coordinator will be responsible for efficiently allocating pool cars based on customer and operational needs. This role involves close collaboration with the fleet manager to ensure that cars are achieving the intended return on investment. The Equipment Control Manager will work directly with customers to meet order requirements as cars become available and will have a deep understanding of the markets that support pooled fleets to maintain the right balance of cars needed. Additionally, this role will coordinate with operations to determine where cars need to be pre-staged and will work with foreign railroads as necessary to manage car cycles.
Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent
