Job summary

Intellectt Inc. seeks an experienced BOM and data specialist to develop equipment BOMs and linkages using OEM manuals, vendor data, and CMMS systems. You will validate specifications, analyze P&IDs and drawings, and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure data accuracy and readiness for asset maintenance programs.

The role requires SAP PM/MM experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of SAP PM/MM, equipment BOM, spare-parts, or maintenance data experience.
• Hands-on experience developing equipment BOMs and equipment-to-material linkages.
• Ability to read P&IDs, OEM manuals, drawings, catalogs, datasheets, and vendor docs.
• Experience identifying CMMS BOM gaps, duplicates, obsolescence, and mislinkages.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data manipulation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment BOMs and establish equipment-to-material linkages using OEM manuals and vendor data.
• Analyze P&IDs, drawings, datasheets, and CMMS/BOM structures.
• Identify maintainable components, parts, quantities, and manufacturer references.
• Validate material descriptions, specs, interchangeability, and duplicate-risk.
• Support material master enrichment and catalogue gap clarification.
• Prepare BOM load templates, cross-reference logs, and control reports.
• Perform BOM completeness, uniqueness, consistency, and referential-integrity checks.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse to resolve data issues.
• Work with Asset Hierarchy and Maintenance Build teams to align BOMs with maintenance strategies.
