Job summary

KB Search Team is seeking a BOM Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of product structural data, bridging engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing. You will ensure data integrity and drive ECOs to keep BOMs accurate across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining BOMs, managing parts in ERP/PLM systems, and collaborating across teams to resolve discrepancies, evaluate substitutions, and control costs and inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in BOM management, engineering documentation, or supply chain (5+ years).
• ERP/MRP systems experience; Epicor 2024.2 is a strong plus, and PLM software familiarity.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; data-structure analysis for BOM configurations.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication across teams when managing large datasets.

Responsibilities

• BOM Lifecycle Management: Build and maintain accurate BOMs for products.
• Part Creation & System Maintenance: Load and manage components in ERP/PLM.
• Engineering Change Management: Implement ECOs and revisions for BOM accuracy.
• Data Integrity: Ensure BOM data consistency across departments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve discrepancies.
• Cost & Inventory Control: Support cost calculations and E&O inventory processes.
