Job summary
San Antonio Equine Hospital is seeking an experienced equine veterinarian to join our team as Medical Director - Managing DVM. This leadership role offers an opportunity to mentor our veterinary team, strengthen client relationships, and guide the continued growth of an established equine practice near the Texas Hill Country.
The Medical Director will partner with the Practice Manager, collaborating on hospital priorities, team development, and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Must hold a veterinary degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Minimum 3+ years in equine practice with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Experience in clinical leadership, mentoring, or team development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a Practice Manager and lead through shared accountability.
