Job summary

Littleton Equine Medical Center in Littleton, CO is seeking a Customer Care Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients, manage calls, schedule appointments, and support the veterinary team. The ideal candidate has customer service experience, a working knowledge of horses, and strong multitasking, written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office or related is highly desirable.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business material; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette and provide guidance on horse care and clinic services.
• Check clients in for in-clinic appointments and coordinate with staff.
• Inform clients of appointment delays as needed and maintain an efficient appointment schedule.
• Screen emergencies and prioritize cases to the veterinarians.
