Job summary

VRB is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee our equine facility in Nevada. The role combines property management with animal care, staff leadership, budgeting, and vendor relations in an outdoor setting.

You will supervise barn operations, ensure safety and welfare standards, manage schedules and contracts, and coordinate events for boarders and guests. The position requires hands-on involvement and flexibility, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Equine Science, Agriculture, Business Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in equine facility management or barn operations; hands-on with horses.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Experience with farm management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property maintenance of barns, stables, arenas, pastures, and infrastructure.
• Lead barn staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and procure supplies; negotiate with vendors.
• Handle boarding contracts, lesson scheduling, events, and guest relations.
• Implement safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and risk assessments.
• Maintain records on horse health, maintenance, and inventory; oversee access systems.
• Supervise horse care programs, feeding, grooming, and veterinary coordination.
