Job summary

The Town of Queen Creek seeks an experienced Equestrian Center Maintenance Worker to perform skilled maintenance, repairs, and event support at the municipal equestrian complex. The role requires operating a range of heavy equipment and coordinating arena setups for diverse events.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with vocational training in heavy equipment and at least 3 years of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical training in heavy equipment operations.
• Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's License and Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and operate large equipment.
• Safety-sensitive position; must pass alcohol and controlled substances testing.

Responsibilities

• Create arena setups for events as required.
• Prepare footing per event specifications in park arenas.
• Perform routine and skilled arena maintenance activities.
• Set up and tear down arena panels.
• Provide maintenance services at events.
• Operate equipment including water truck, dump truck, skid steer, and large tractors.
• Inspect, repair, and calibrate equipment and systems for the park.
• Maintain inventory and records, including work orders and logs.
