Town of Queen Creek is seeking an intermediate level streets maintenance worker to perform semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and related tasks in the streets and right-of-way. The role involves operating a range of hand and power tools, setting up traffic controls, and addressing public roadway concerns.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
• Driver's License; Maintain all certifications/licenses required at job entry.
• This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position; may require alcohol and controlled substances testing within 24 hours of offer.

Responsabilidades

• Installs, repairs, replaces, and maintains street fixtures, signs, and road markings while following safety guidelines.
• Performs general maintenance including cleaning, debris removal, and setting up traffic controls.
• Performs routine concrete, asphalt, and pavement maintenance and repair.
• Maintains stormwater and utility access areas and inspects lift stations.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools and equipment.
• Responds to public complaints and emergencies involving roadways and closures.
