Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least three years of professional experience investigating and resolving discrimination, harassment, or employment-related complaints, including sexual misconduct or sexual violence.
• Relevant clerkships, internships, or clinical experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Conduct prompt, impartial investigations by developing investigative plans, interviewing complainants, respondents, and witnesses, gathering and preserving evidence, and maintaining comprehensive case records.
• Conduct interviews, prepare accurate interview summaries, and ask appropriate follow-up questions to obtain information regarding misconduct or policy violations
• Draft clear, accurate, and professional correspondence throughout the complaint resolution process
• Evaluate and distinguish relevant evidence in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prepare comprehensive investigative reports with findings, credibility assessments, and analyses
• Provide consultative support to affiliated entities regarding ongoing investigations and processes
• Assess incoming complaints, determine applicable policies, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Participate in meetings, hearings, and other processes related to investigation outcomes
• Maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information in compliance with policies and laws
• Remain current on applicable laws and best practices including Title VI, Title IX, VAWA, Clery Act
• Collaborate with departments across the university to support compliance efforts
