Job summary

Kaloutas is seeking hardworking epoxy flooring installers to join our Northeast team and support commercial and industrial flooring projects. You’ll work with foremen, field managers, and fellow installers to deliver high-quality flooring solutions across the region.

As an Industrial Flooring Installer, you’ll help prepare surfaces, install epoxy and resinous systems, and maintain a safe, organized jobsite while meeting project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience with epoxy, polished concrete, or concrete preparation is a plus.
• Basic jobsite math skills including area measurements and unit conversions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete and other flooring surfaces.
• Operate grinders and surface-prep equipment.
• Install epoxy and resinous flooring systems.
• Assist with polished concrete applications.
• Measure areas and calculate material needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Follow safety requirements and work as part of a team.

What You’ll Do

No two projects are exactly the same. Depending on the job, responsibilities may include:

• Preparing concrete and other flooring surfaces
• Operating grinders and other surface-preparation equipment
• Installing epoxy and resinous flooring systems
• Assisting with polished concrete applications
• Mixing and applying flooring materials
• Measuring areas and calculating material needs
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Following all company and jobsite safety requirements
• Working as part of a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule

Our installers play an important role in every project. We take pride in delivering quality work and leaving our customers with a finished floor that reflects the Kaloutas standard.

What We’re Looking For

Successful candidates will:

• Be dependable, punctual, and consistent with attendance

• Communicate professionally with teammates and supervisors
• Be comfortable with basic jobsite math, including multiplication, division, square footage, ratios, and unit conversions
• Have reliable transportation
• Have a smartphone or mobile device
• Be able and willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Follow all company and jobsite safety policies
• Be comfortable working in an active commercial or industrial construction environment

Previous epoxy, polished concrete, concrete preparation, or commercial flooring experience is a plus.
