RTX is seeking a Scientist/Engineer for production of epitaxially grown diodes at Raytheon Vision Systems, focusing on execution and process improvements for infrared sensor materials. The role requires a safety-first work routine and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in controlled areas, cleanrooms, laboratories etc.
• Directly work with semiconductor materials & process chemicals.
• Utilized of common metrology techniques to quantify crystalline growth.
• Develop fundamental understanding of epitaxial processes.
• Develop equipment, tooling and facility drawings using common CAD software
• Perform data and failure analysis for process yield improvements
• Apply advanced mathematical methods for data analysis
• Apply statistical methods and their relevance for process control
• Use common software tools for data manipulation and data extraction such as: Matlab, Minitab, MS Excel, ProE
• Ownership automated electronic control systems
