Job summary

RTX is seeking a Scientist or Engineer to contribute to production epitaxial diodes at Raytheon Vision Systems. You will focus on execution and process improvements for infrared sensor materials in a controlled, clean-room environment, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in controlled areas, cleanrooms, laboratories etc.
• Directly work with semiconductor materials & process chemicals.
• Utilized of common metrology techniques to quantify crystalline growth.
• Develop fundamental understanding of epitaxial processes
• Develop equipment, tooling and facility drawings using common CAD software
• Perform data and failure analysis for process yield improvements
• Apply advanced mathematical methods for data analysis
• Apply statistical methods and their relevance for process control
• Use common software tools for data manipulation and data extraction such as: Matlab, Minitab, MS Excel, ProE
• Ownership automated electronic control systems
