Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH, seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute. This role focuses on a 100% epilepsy practice with access to a fully staffed neurophysiology lab and comprehensive imaging services, supporting advanced diagnostics and surgical interventions.

You will collaborate across neurology, neurosurgery, pediatrics and stroke to advance a growing epilepsy program, participate in teaching and resident education, and contribute to research

Qualifications

Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
Epilepsy fellowship completed.
Experience in complex epilepsy management and advanced care.
Current Ohio medical license.
Interest in teaching and resident education.
Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
Interest in clinical innovation and technology.

Responsibilities

Provide 100% epilepsy care in clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, pediatrics and regional partners.
Support research, innovation and medical education initiatives.
Participate in teaching, lectures and resident education.
Contribute to program development and growth of Epilepsy services.
