Job summary
Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join a comprehensive epilepsy program within a cutting-edge health system. This role offers opportunities to advance diagnostics, surgical treatment pathways, and patient outcomes within a 100% epilepsy-focused practice.

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship
- Preference for an experienced epilepsy physician with a demonstrated interest in complex epilepsy management and/or advanced epilepsy care
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain an Ohio medical license
- Interest in participating in teaching, lectures and resident education
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care
- Interest in clinical innovation, technology and the continued advancement of epilepsy treatment
Responsibilities
- Provide epilepsy-focused care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings
- Collaborate with neurosurgical partners and pediatric/adult transition pathways
- Engage in teaching, education and research opportunities
- Contribute to development of advanced epilepsy diagnostic and surgical treatment pathways
