Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join a 100% epilepsy practice with a fully staffed neurophysiology laboratory and extensive in-house imaging and laboratory services. The role emphasizes complex epilepsy care, collaboration with neurosurgical partners, and opportunities in research and education.
Ideal candidates will be board certified/eligible in Neurology with an Epilepsy fellowship and a strong interest in teaching,
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
- Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
- Current unrestricted license to practice in Ohio or eligibility for Ohio license.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, complex epilepsy care within Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care and stroke teams.
- Participate in academic activities, teaching, and resident education.
- Engage in program development, research, and innovation in epilepsy treatment.
