Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role encompasses a 100% epilepsy practice with access to a wide neurodiagnostic lab and collaboration with neurology, neurocritical care, and stroke teams.

Ideal candidates are board-certified/eligible in Neurology with an Epilepsy fellowship and a strong interest in complex epilepsy management and surgical pathways. Ohio licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Interest in complex epilepsy management and advanced epilepsy care.
• Current Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive epilepsy care in clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with regional neurosurgical and neurodiagnostic teams on treatment pathways.
• Engage in teaching, lectures, and resident education as available.
