Job summary

Summa Health Neurosciences Institute is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join a 100% epilepsy practice in Akron, Ohio. The role involves clinic and inpatient/EMU work within a comprehensive epilepsy program supported by a neurophysiology laboratory and extensive imaging services.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in neurology with an epilepsy fellowship, and a strong interest in teaching, research and advancing epilepsy care in collaboration with NEOMED

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology with a focus on epilepsy care.
• Completion of an epilepsy fellowship.
• Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive epilepsy care in clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with neurosurgical partners and regional epilepsy programs.
• Engage in research, innovation, and medical education activities.
