Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. This role focuses on a 100% epilepsy practice with access to a fully staffed neurophysiology lab and extensive in-house services within a comprehensive neuroscience infrastructure.

The position emphasizes innovation in epilepsy treatment, collaboration with regional neurosurgical partners, and opportunities for teaching and academic appointment with NEOMED.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Preference for an experienced epilepsy physician with a demonstrated interest in complex epilepsy management and/or advanced epilepsy care.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.
• Interest in participating in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Interest in clinical innovation, technology and the continued advancement of epilepsy treatment.
