Job summary
Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join a 100% epilepsy practice with a full neurophysiology lab. The role offers collaboration across neurology, neurocritical care, and pediatric/adult epilepsy pathways.
The candidate will work in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings, participate in teaching and research, and may have an academic appointment with NEOMED. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology.
- Completed epilepsy fellowship.
- License to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain one.
- Interest in teaching and resident education.
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
- Interest in clinical innovation and epilepsy treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive epilepsy care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and other neuroscience teams.
- Engage in teaching, lectures and resident education.
- Contribute to research and innovative epilepsy treatment pathways.
