Summa Health is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role offers the opportunity to practice complex epilepsy care within a technology-forward health system, with access to innovative diagnostics and surgical interventions.
The position emphasizes collaboration with neurology, neurocritical care, neurohospitalist, stroke services, and pediatric/surgical partners, including a pediatric-to-adult epilepsy transition pathway
Qualifications
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology.
- Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
- Interest in clinical innovation and technology within epilepsy care.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio or ability to obtain license.
- Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
Responsibilities
- Mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU epilepsy care.
- Operate within a fully staffed neurophysiology laboratory and 100% epilepsy practice.
- Collaborate across neurology, neurocritical care and stroke services as part of Summa Health Neurosciences.
- Engage with ongoing research, innovation, and medical education initiatives.
