Summa Health is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist in Akron, Ohio, to join the Neurosciences Institute. This role offers practice across clinic and inpatient/EMU settings with access to a fully staffed neurophysiology lab and in-house radiology.
The position emphasizes AI-enabled tools, advanced diagnostics, and collaborative care with neurosurgical and pediatric partners. The successful candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology with an Epilepsy fellowship, and will
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
- Interest in complex epilepsy management and advanced epilepsy care.
- Current unrestricted Ohio license or ability to obtain one.
- Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
- Interest in clinical innovation, technology and epilepsy treatment advancement.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized epilepsy care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and pediatric partners and SUMMA teams.
- Participate in teaching and resident education.
- Contribute to research and development of epilepsy care pathways.
