This is a time limited position. The program is an initiative to enhance the overall efforts of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to end the HIV epidemic by 2030. The responsibilities of this role are directly related to activities executed through partnerships and community-based collaborations established through the Ryan White Part B Ending the HIV Epidemic (RWEHE) program. The RWEHE Epidemiologist will serve as the program expert in HIV epidemiology, performing analysis on HIV-related data. The epidemiologist will routinely analyze HIV out-of-care data, ensure data quality and prepare Ryan White Services Reports that are consistent with HRSA reporting requirements. The RWEHE epidemiologist will work closely with the DIS and the case managers to identify clients that require follow and case management.
Experience with healthcare data analysis, including developing and designing methods of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data. Demonstrated understanding of programs, processes and methods for prevention, intervention, and control of diseases of public health importance. Competencies in SAS, and SPSS, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Epic and relevant statistical softwares and packages. Experience or interest in HIV prevention and treatment.
