Job summary

Epic, located just outside Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. You’ll shape the onboarding experience, from instructional design to developing training materials and scenarios for delivery.

You’ll collaborate with teams to design workflow-based content, partner with organizations to tailor training, and contribute to projects that make Epic software more intuitive, while traveling 25-60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users as well as staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their Epic experience as they transition to Epic.
• Handle instructional design and development of training materials and scenarios for delivery.
• Work with teams to design workflow-based training content and collaborate with organizations to tailor training.
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
