Job summary

Epic, located just outside Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses and healthcare staff as they transition to Epic. You will shape their experience and be the first point of contact, delivering insightful instruction and developing training materials.

From instructional design to content delivery, you will collaborate with teams and client organizations to design workflow-based training, travel as needed (25–60%), and contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• History of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with typical trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users as well as staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Contribute to instructional design and development of training materials and scenarios.
• Collaborate with organizations to design workflow-based training content and participate in projects to improve Epic usability.
• Deliver engaging training content in classrooms, conference rooms, or online.
