Job summary

Ohio State University Physicians is seeking an IT Training & Optimization Analyst to design and deliver training for EPIC and related systems, improving workflows and end-user adoption across clinical teams. You will partner with IT and clinicians to optimize utilization and training effectiveness.

The role emphasizes adult learning principles, clear communication, and collaboration to translate complex system changes into practical training plans.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a clinical field, information systems or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience with an electronic medical record or system.
• Epic build certification within 6 months of hire if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs, analyze workflows, and define future state clinical processes.
• Deliver training to new hires, refresher sessions, and system update trainings.
• Coordinate change communications and keep end users informed on system updates.
• Develop change management strategies and optimize clinical systems enhancements.
