Job summary

Buzzclan seeks an experienced leader to oversee the enterprise Epic training program for DSOHF, guiding strategy, curriculum, staff readiness, and effectiveness during Epic implementations, upgrades, and workflow changes.

The role partners with Epic application managers, analysts, and clinical leaders to assess training needs, plan readiness milestones, and ensure training content aligns with approved workflows and policies across behavioral health, long-term care, and other clinical

Qualifications

• Experience leading an Epic EHR training program
• Experience managing Epic implementations/upgrades/optimizations
• Leadership of Epic training teams across multiple sites
• Development and management of Epic training curricula and materials
• Knowledge of Epic training methodologies and adult learning principles
• Project management and implementation experience in healthcare
• Epic certification/credentialing is highly desirable
• Experience supporting behavioral health, long-term care, or complex healthcare environments
• Experience managing training for multi-site or enterprise Epic environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Epic training team, including trainers and operations
• Develop and maintain enterpriseEpic training strategies, curricula, and standards
• Coordinate training for upgrades, implementations, and workflow changes
• Partner with Epic leaders to assess training needs and readiness
• Establish training plans, schedules, and readiness milestones for system changes
• Monitor training completion, effectiveness, and user feedback; take corrective actions as needed
• Ensure training content aligns with Epic workflows and policies
• Support go-live and post-go-live training activities with on-site support
• Standardize training processes across facilities while accommodating diverse clinical environments
• Provide regular status reporting and recommendations to Epic leadership
