Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks an Epic Principal Trainer to design, build, and deliver Epic training for clinical and operational staff. You will develop curriculum, collaborate with SMEs, and support system upgrades and optimization.

This on-site role requires Epic experience, training design, strong presentation skills, project management, and the ability to travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience in IT Healthcare EHR systems.
• Obtain Principal Trainer Certification within three months of hire.
• Learning management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Epic training curriculum and supporting materials for assigned Epic modules.
• Develop eLearning modules and collaborate with eLearning team.
• Prepare training sessions, materials, and training environment.
• Collaborate with SMEs and other trainers; co-facilitate and assist with exercises.
• Deliver training; communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Train staff and end users on technical topics as needed.
• Manage projects with timelines; incorporate feedback into procedures.
• Coordinate with Analysts, SMEs, and leaders to reflect current workflows.
• Update content during system upgrades and provide refresher training.
