Job summary

Ochsner Health in Lafayette, LA seeks an Epic Education Specialist to deliver end-user training and ongoing support during and after Epic implementations. You will partner with clinical and IT teams to optimize workflows and ensure successful adoption of Epic modules.

The role requires 3 years of experience in education, healthcare, IT, or related fields, or 1 year of Epic experience, with a preferred 1 year in Epic software, EMR implementation, project management, and clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Required - 3 years of experience in education, healthcare, information technology, customer service or related field
• OR 1 year of Epic experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree; Preferred – 1 year of Epic software experience
• 1 year of EMR implementation experience
• 1 year of relevant project management experience
• 1 year of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Provides Epic education and end‑user support during and after the implementation/onboarding process
• Partners and communicates with assigned customers and end users to assess goals and needs
• Participates in problem identification and resolution activities
• Maintains expertise in assigned Epic applications, enterprise‑wide applications, and departmental workflows
• Provides support for Epic implementations, relevant applications, and organizational initiatives
• Performs other related duties as required
