Job summary

Henry Ford Health IT is seeking an IT Manager for Testing, Change, and Environment/Release leadership to ensure safe, predictable Epic delivery and maintain system integrity. The role leads a combined team supporting testing, change coordination, and environment/release operations, partnering with clinical and operational stakeholders.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in Epic/EMR testing and release management, plus two years of managerial experience; ITSM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Epic or EMR testing, environment management, release management, and/or change coordination.
• Minimum of two (2) years of prior management or supervisory experience.
• Experience operating within enterprise change management and ITSM frameworks.
• Experience partnering with operational support teams to review post go-live defects and incidents and feed learnings back into testing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day across Epic testing, change management, environments, and release operations.
• Ensure safe, predictable, and high-quality Epic delivery while protecting system integrity.
• Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure, PMO, and governance groups.
• Serve as 24x7 escalation point and drive continuous improvement through metrics and tooling.
