Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care in Hermiston, OR is seeking an Epic Analyst to design, configure, and maintain Epic applications across modules such as EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, OpTime, Radiant, MyChart, Cadence.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of Epic build experience, Epic certifications, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with clinical and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree minimum in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Epic certification in at least one Epic application (e.g., EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, OpTime).
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct Epic build experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with multiple Epic certifications and involvement in an Epic implementation or major upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical leadership, staff, and IT teams to design and configure Epic workflows for clinical departments.
• Analyze operational workflows to ensure Epic functionality aligns with clinical needs.
• Provide in-depth support for Epic modules (EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, OpTime, Radiant, MyChart, Cadence).
• Independently create specifications, analyze logic, and revise configurations as needed.
• Manage small to medium Epic projects across modules, ensuring timely delivery and goals.
• Participate in system testing and validation before production release.
• Train and support end-users, super-users, and core teams.
