Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced EPIC Client Systems Administrator to join Technical Services Team B. The role supports and maintains Epic application infrastructure, leading projects that enhance system performance, interoperability, and end-user experience across the healthcare enterprise.

The ideal candidate will manage administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of Epic technologies, including Epic MyChart, Printing Services, Web Blob, Interconnect,

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years progressive business systems/IT project experience, with exposure to development/testing/installation/training.
  • Applicants with significant IT project experience may be considered without the stated degree.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and interprets specifications to develop or revise software applications.
  • Coordinates testing and user training for new or updated applications.
  • Supports Epic infrastructure upgrades and configuration management.
  • Monitors data integrity and performance of Epic systems.
  • Assists in implementing new Epic infrastructure capabilities.
