Job summary

Cook Hospital & Care Center is seeking an Epic Support Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This role will support the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing development of our Epic EHR and related applications.

The Epic Support Analyst will work with clinical, administrative, financial, and technical teams to analyze workflows, troubleshoot system issues, support testing and implementations, and assist staff with the effective use of Epic and related information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience with understanding of hospital/ambulatory operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively with staff at all levels.

Wage: $26.00–$40.28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Summary

Cook Hospital & Care Center is seeking an Epic Support Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This position will support the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing development of our Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) and related applications.

The Epic Support Analyst will work closely with clinical, administrative, financial, and technical teams to analyze workflows, troubleshoot system issues, support testing and implementations, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist staff with the effective use of Epic and related information systems.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with staff throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience with an understanding of hospital and/or ambulatory operations, clinical workflows, and interdisciplinary interactions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Epic or another Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Experience with healthcare information technology, workflow analysis, system testing, or application support.
• Epic certification or experience participating in an Epic implementation.
• Advanced training or experience in a clinical specialty.
