Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic STARS Analyst to support the build, maintenance and optimization of Epic Healthy Planet modules, improving Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS and NCQA measures. In this hands-on role you will translate specifications, configure tests, develop reports with Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle and SlicerDicer, and partner with Quality and Population Health teams to close care gaps.

Applicants should have Epic certification, 2+ years of Epic experience, and strong data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Epic Certified in Healthy Planet, Reporting or related modules.
2+ years of experience working with Epic, ideally within Healthy Planet, Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, or SlicerDicer.
Familiarity with Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS, and/or NCQA quality measure concepts.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data validation and measure logic testing.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Epic Healthy Planet registries, health maintenance topics, care gap alerts, and BPAs tied to Star Ratings measures.
Translate HEDIS technical specifications and CMS Star Ratings measure criteria into Epic build requirements.
Assist in configuring and testing quality measure logic within Epic to ensure accurate gap identification and closure tracking.
Troubleshoot and resolve daily issues related to Star measure workflows, registries, and reporting discrepancies.
Build and maintain reports using Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, and SlicerDicer.
Validate quality measure data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies between Epic data and reporting outputs.
Support monthly/quarterly Star Ratings reporting cycles.
