Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a skilled Learning & Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver EMR training focused on Epic workflows and Revenue Cycle processes. You will educate clinicians and admin staff, create engaging materials, and drive effective adoption of new tools.

Responsibilities include creating scalable learning solutions, simulations, and assessments, as well as partnering with SMEs to align training with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health informatics, education, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in education, training, healthcare operations, Revenue Cycle, healthcare informatics, or related field.
• At least 1 year in revenue cycle education and process improvement.
• At least 1 year in curriculum development, instructional design, and course creation.
• Must complete Revenue Cycle Training within 6 months of hire; uPerform Training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains scalable learning solutions supporting Revenue Cycle operations, Epic workflows, onboarding, professional development, and organizational initiatives using virtual, blended, and self-paced methods.
• Develops and converts revenue cycle education content into engaging learning experiences including simulations, videos, assessments, job aids, and role-based pathways.
• Demonstrates competence in revenue cycle processes, front-end billing, compliance, and system workflow understanding to assist end users.
• Partners with revenue cycle SMEs, operations, and Epic team to create training solutions that support system enhancements and process improvements.
• Evaluates training effectiveness using assessments and metrics, and implements improvements to enhance quality and workforce readiness.
• Promotes adoption of learning technologies and innovative strategies by maintaining platforms and applying instructional design best practices.
• Manages multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
