Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to support Epic PB design, configuration, testing, and maintenance. The role partners with operational and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and ongoing optimization of revenue cycle workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Epic implementation experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and can work independently in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

  • Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Epic implementation and application build experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Epic PB workflows and revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, test, and maintain Epic PB content and workflows.
  • Gather business requirements and translate into functional specifications and system design.
  • Validate Epic build with business owners and stakeholders.
  • Support implementation, upgrade, and maintenance activities in Epic PB.
  • Manage project tasks and deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and communicate project risks or issues.
  • Liaise between IT, users, vendors, and operations.
  • Participate in workflow analysis and testing for go-lives.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and end-user guides.
  • Maintain Epic certifications and stay current on enhancements.
  • Provide production support and process improvement recommendations.

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: Initial contract with strong potential for extension

Certification Required: Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification

Preferred Certification: Epic Hospital Billing (HB)

Position Overview

A large healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to support ongoing Epic implementation and build activities. This individual will play a key role in designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Epic PB functionality while partnering with operational and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of Epic implementation experience and a strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, configure, test, and maintain Epic Professional Billing application content and workflows.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system design documentation.
  • Validate Epic build and configuration with business owners and operational stakeholders.
  • Support implementation, optimization, upgrade, and maintenance activities within the Epic PB application.
  • Manage assigned project tasks and deliverables, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and elevate project risks or issues that may impact deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between IT teams, end users, vendors, and operational departments.
  • Participate in workflow analysis sessions, stakeholder meetings, testing efforts, and go-live support activities.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, system design, workflow diagrams, testing scripts, procedures, and end-user guides.
  • Maintain Epic certifications and stay current on application enhancements, best practices, and new functionality.
  • Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and process improvement recommendations.
Required Qualifications
  • Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Epic implementation and application build experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Epic PB workflows and revenue cycle operations.
