Job summary

ClinDCast LLC is seeking an experienced Epic HB/PB Analyst to support Epic Revenue Cycle applications across HB and PB modules.

You will configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute HB/PB, translate business requirements into system setup, and support billing workflows, testing, upgrades, and production support. Collaboration with Revenue Cycle, IT, Finance, and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with Epic Resolute HB and/or PB.
• Active Epic certification in HB and/or PB is strongly preferred/required depending on the engagement.
• Strong understanding of hospital and/or professional revenue cycle workflows.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Epic HB/PB Analyst with strong expertise in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB) to support Epic Revenue Cycle applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epic application functionality and system configuration.
• Support hospital and professional billing workflows, including charge capture, claims, remittance, reimbursement, billing edits, and work queues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, billing, claims, and workflow issues.
• Perform workflow analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
• Participate in system design, configuration, testing, validation, implementation, and production support.
• Develop and execute unit, integrated, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in Epic upgrades, enhancements, patches, implementations, and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Billing, IT, Clinical, and operational teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Gather requirements, document workflows, prepare functional specifications, and maintain application/build documentation.
• Support claims processing, reimbursement workflows, charge routing, edits, remittance, and related revenue cycle functionality.
• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and integrated applications when required.
• Assist with go-live activities, post-production support, and stabilization.
• Follow organizational change-management, testing, security, and compliance procedures.
• Provide application support and guidance to end users and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with Epic Resolute HB and/or PB.
• Active Epic certification in HB and/or PB is strongly preferred/required depending on the engagement.
• Strong understanding of hospital and/or professional revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of billing, claims, reimbursement, charge capture, and revenue cycle processes.
• Experience participating in Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or optimization projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
