Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of registration or medical billing experience.
• Proficient understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; motivated self-starter.
• Experience with Epic data entry or strong MS Office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial requirements.
• Completes chart audits, EPIC data entry, and required FQHC documents prior to patient appointments.
• Verifies revenue cycle and patient balances to support billing.
• Performs telephonic registration and ensures accurate data entry and benefits verification.
• Supports compliance with HIPAA and accreditation standards.
• Communicates effectively with leadership about patient accounts.
• Collaborates with sites, insurance carriers, and patients to obtain needed documents.
