The role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in Epic administration and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years experience working with EPIC or comparable health system software.
  • OR Minimum three (3) years scripting or programming experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year in an informal leadership role working with IT or operational teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Care or related field and Minimum six (6) years working in IT or operations; equivalents accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects; develop work plans with priorities and deadlines.
  • Provide information, resources, advice, and expertise to coworkers and customers; build cross-functional relationships.
  • Meet timelines to drive delivery of solutions.
  • Assist team members to resolve system problems and application-specific issues.
  • Support stability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems through analysis and improvement.
  • Provide first/second level support; diagnose and resolve complex incidents.
  • Escalate critical issues to system engineers when needed.
  • Communicate with users and vendors to share information and prioritize requirements.
  • Plan and perform complex system configuration and changes.
  • Participate in installs, upgrades, or decommissions of systems and infrastructure.
  • Document system configurations and procedures clearly.
  • Plan implementations of hardware/software changes across environments.
  • Support vendor activities and change management processes.
  • Define maintenance and documentation of complex applications.
  • Develop guidelines to prevent or resolve recurring problems.
  • Recommend and execute performance tuning and optimization.
