Kaiser Permanente Northwest is seeking an IT/EPIC systems professional in Lake Oswego, OR to support build, testing, validation, and ongoing operation of Epic applications. The role requires clinical or IT systems knowledge to advance high-quality care through the EHR.

You will document future-state specs, analyze workflows, and engage with end users and Epic staff. The position emphasizes system configuration, incident resolution, and collaboration across teams, including supervising system

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years experience working with EPIC or comparable health system software OR minimum three (3) years scripting or programming experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year in an informal leadership role working with IT or operational teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care or related field and minimum six (6) years in IT or operations; degree may be substituted by equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects; coordinates resources to meet deadlines.
  • Provides first and second level support for enterprise systems and analyzes incidents.
  • Plans and performs complex system configuration and change management.
  • Participates in installs, upgrades, or decommissions of designated systems and infrastructure.
  • Creates documentation of system configuration and procedures; maintains accuracy.
  • Supports vendor activities and liaises with end users and Epic staff.
