Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department seeks a full-time Epic Principal Trainer 2 in Grand Central to lead training for clinical systems supporting patient care. Responsibilities include environment build, e-learning design, curriculum creation, and end-user training to promote patient safety and robust system usage.

Core duties cover project-aligned training plans, lesson and manual development, testing, go-live activities, and collaboration with analysts on system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Participates in pre-production simulations, workflow integration, testing, and validation of system functionality.
• Provides end-user training on the various clinical systems’ applications supported by the IT Training department.
• Develops training project plans in correlation with IT project planning and guidelines to meet implementation deadlines.
• Develops lesson plans and curriculum design, training manuals, classroom exercises, competency assessment and testing, and online learning modules.
• Assists with go-live activities and collaborates with analysts on application changes to develop training strategies.
• Reviews stakeholder interactions to ensure training meets business/clinical needs.
