Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Principal Trainer-Epic-Hospital at Home to lead training initiatives for Epic and related software, shaping how employees learn, adopt, and succeed with critical healthcare technology across the organization. You will develop curricula, build the Epic training environment, and partner with leadership to assess needs and drive go-live readiness.

The role requires Epic credentialing and experience with Orders, ClinDoc, and ambulatory training modules.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of industry-related training experience in healthcare or related area.
1+ year experience working in a healthcare setting.
Experience providing floor support for an Epic application and demonstrated knowledge of workflows in additional applications during go-live.
2+ years developing and editing curriculum.
Credentialed in at least two major Epic applications.
Experience with Epic Orders, ClinDoc, Ambulatory training/modules preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve training curriculum that support user understanding of software applications, workflows, policies, and procedures.
Build, test, and maintain the Epic training environment to support workforce education needs.
Partner with application build team leadership and the training manager to assess training needs and develop effective education strategies.
Serve as a project facilitator and adult education expert for Epic and other software applications.
Provide guidance and mentoring to credentialed trainers to strengthen training quality and consistency.
Support go-live readiness and end-user success through effective training and workflow education.
