Waystar Implementation with Epic

Engagement Length: 6+ months

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Prelude Analyst Consultant to support a Waystar implementation within Epic. This consultant will work closely with internal Prelude analysts and the project team to implement Waystar’s insurance verification solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from existing Experian products. The role will focus on system design, build, testing, and optimization within Epic Prelude and RTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the internal Epic Prelude analyst and project team to implement Waystar solutions across all phases of the project, including system decisions, design, build, and testing.
• Lead and support the implementation of Waystar RTE, RTA, and Coverage Insurance Verification products within Epic Prelude.
• Leverage existing Epic and Experian build and mappings to support a seamless transition to Waystar products.
• Configure, build, and test workflows in Epic Prelude and RTE, coordinating closely with Epic and Waystar teams.
• Assist in the development of end-user training materials and support training efforts as needed.
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to optimize insurance data maintenance and data mapping for long-term sustainability.
• Participate in testing cycles, validation, and issue resolution to ensure successful deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Epic Prelude certification (required).
• Epic RTE certification (required).
• Proven experience implementing Waystar RTE, RTA, and Coverage Insurance Verification solutions.
• Experience transitioning from Experian insurance verification products to Waystar (highly preferred).
• Strong understanding of Epic Prelude workflows, insurance data, and eligibility processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, project teams, and vendors in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience on Epic revenue cycle or insurance verification implementations.
• Experience supporting system optimization and long-term maintenance strategies post-implementation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
