Scottish Rite for Children seeks an Epic Patient Access Analyst in Dallas, TX. The role supports patient access operations with Epic workflows, reports, and third-party integrations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one or more Epic Certifications in Patient Access applications (Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Welcome, Referrals, Eligibility). Typical hours are M-F 8am-5pm with after-hours upgrades support, based at the Dallas Shared Services location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One or more Epic Certifications in Patient Access applications (Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Welcome, Referrals, Eligibility) are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular status reports to management as required
• Lead meetings as required and participate on committees as directed
• Participate in customer discussion offering suggestions and recommendations
• Maintain a positive image when dealing with deadlines and demanding, highly stressful situations
• Organize discovery sessions to identify the operational needs of the organization
• Mentor analysts dedicated to assigned application
• Work independently on all tasks, including facilitation of both internal and external customer meetings
• Work all levels of incidents and change orders independently
• Analyze customer-reported problems to determine corrective action and provide timely feedback
• Work with IT and Empower teams to identify appropriate solutions for operational and technical needs
• Identify methods for build and report distribution
• Build and maintain Reporting Workbench reports
• Answer questions by interpreting data and providing actionable recommendations
• Ensure department documentation is current
• Preform application and integration testing for the assigned module
• Perform validation testing with end users to gain operational acceptance and feedback to new build components/optimization projects
• Understand and analyze Epic workflows
• Assist with translation of workflow-based report requests to data points for report development
• Support integration with third party applications, when applicable

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
