The Epic Application Analyst is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing expertise in Epic Applications. This includes basic to intermediate analysis, design, configuration and implementation. The analyst ensures integration of technology into effective workflow and process design and operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technology. They provide ongoing analysis, consultation, problem‑solving, collaboration and application support to users, contribute to related project work, and deliver system training. The Epic Application Analyst typically reports to an ISD manager or above. The analyst supports and optimizes Epic applications to enhance clinical workflows and operational efficiency: analyzing user needs, configuring and maintaining system functionality, managing support tickets, and participating in system upgrades, testing, and implementations. They partner closely with clinical and operational teams, including nursing, mother‑baby, and rehab, to troubleshoot issues, improve documentation processes, and ensure effective system use. The role requires strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities in a high‑volume environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer support, including participation in a rotating on‑call schedule.
