Job summary

An established industry player is seeking an experienced Epic Orders/ClinDoc/ASAP Support Specialist to join their innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work primarily remotely while collaborating closely with clients to enhance their Epic systems. You will guide the implementation of Epic solutions, ensuring successful workflows and outstanding client service. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

The Support Specialist will guide the Epic product specific build regarding scheduling and workflows of providers and patients, including enhancing the support models to achieve successful enhancements, expansion, and ongoing support. Additionally, the Specialist performs analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with Epic software. Prepares requirement specifications and provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements. Review and test new releases and document all outcomes of testing and serve as the support contact for the application. This position has responsibility within all phases of the application implementation including design, build, test, installation, and maintenance of the application. Provide outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care. On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the organization.

Enterprise Epic Implementation; Primarily remote work with scheduled time onsite with the client. Deloitte has been engaged as an Implementation Partner and will operate with a hands on "Coach and Advise" model of support to the client IT Team. We are looking for experienced team leads to support/coach/advise the Project IT Team with tasks throughout the implementation cycle - Design/Workflows, System Build, Testing, Upgrades, and Activation.

Recruiting for this position will end on April 20, 2025.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current Epic Certification (Orders, ClinDoc, or ASAP)
  • 6+ years of recent experience on Epic Support & Maintenance
  • Experience in application design, workflows, build, troubleshooting, testing, and support
  • On-call responsibilities for evenings andweekends on a rotating schedule
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Role is remote

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital or Clinic operations experience
  • Additional Epic Certifications
  • ITIL process knowledge

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $130,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
