The Application Analyst is responsible for the development, deployment, support, product design, and testing cycles of the Maestro Care (Epic) Inpatient Electronic Health Record (EHR). This includes planning, managing, and supporting application users within the Duke environment. Modules supported include Clinical Documentation, Orders, Emergency, Obstetrics, and Home Care and Hospice.
The analyst will work closely with Epic and other Maestro Care staff to execute deployment tasks, interpret clinical workflows, and participate in application build, testing, and support. They will also provide training and act as an expert on Maestro Care Inpatient EHR functionalities, updating test plans, and participating in design and specification reviews for new features and bug fixes. Managing user access and tracking changes are also part of the responsibilities.
This is a fully remote position with a 24-hour on-call rotation. Hours are 8 am-5 pm, varying with the rotation schedule.
The analyst may need Epic certification in supported modules, as determined by the manager.
