Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Epic Orders specialist in Atlanta to implement, configure, and maintain the EPIC orders module. You will collaborate with clinical staff to optimize order workflows, conduct comprehensive testing, and train end-users for optimal functionality.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Epic Orders build experience, physician workflow understanding, and relevant certifications, with a focus on enterprise-wide order builds and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of Epic Orders build experience.
• Certified or credentialed in Epic Orders.
• Strong understanding of physician workflows.
• Order build set experience within a multi-hospital enterprise.
• Additional Epic certifications.
• Order transmittal experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain the EPIC orders module according to organizational needs.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to understand and optimize order workflows and order sets.
• Conduct rigorous testing of the EPIC system, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to the EPIC orders system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the EPIC orders module.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPIC system updates and enhancements.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure system interoperability and data integrity.
