Job summary

BuzzClan is seeking an Epic Orders Analyst to join on a 12-month, 100% remote engagement. You will provide application support, build, test, and optimize Epic Orders workflows across multiple facilities and teams.

The role requires Epic certification, participation in an on-call rotation, and close collaboration with clinicians, pharmacists, and ancillary staff to ensure compliant, safe patient care through order entry, order sets, and decision support.

Qualifications

• Epic Orders Analyst provides application support, build, testing, and optimization of Epic Orders workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide application build and configuration for Epic Orders workflows (CPOE, order sets, protocols, preference lists, and decision support).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and ancillary staff to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality.
• Participate in system testing, integrated validation, and change management processes.
• Troubleshoot issues escalated via ServiceNow, providing timely resolution or escalation as appropriate.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards for orders management (CMS, Joint Commission, NC state policies).
• Work collaboratively with other Epic module analysts to ensure workflow integration and system interoperability.
• Participate in on-call rotation for orders-related support issues.
