Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Sr. Epic Analyst II for OpTime & Anesthesia to advance clinical workflows and system optimization. The role requires Epic experience, strong communication, and collaboration across IT and clinical teams in a complex academic medical setting.

Qualifications

• Effective oral, written communication and follow-up skills.
• 3-4 years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Certified in 1 or more Epic Applications and working toward an Epic Graduate certification in their primary application.
• Multiple Epic implementation experiences.
• Healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Application Managers/Directors/etc. and the entire Project Team, to collect, analyze and document business operations and workflow.
• Begins to work with the Manager/Director to provide input into task assignment and scheduling of duties.
• Participate in disaster recovery measures.
• Assess projects for scoping and timelines with the Application Manager/Director.
• Lead and facilitate meetings as needed and ensure QA processes are followed.
• Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
• Understand interface requirements and validate end-to-end workflow testing.
• Analyze new functionality in releases to identify impact.
• Communicate across teams about task assignments.
• Support training by updating teams on new functionality and system changes.
• Ensure test scripts are created and updated reflecting workflow solutions.
• Collaborate with Epic using Sherlock or other tools.
• Complete tasks timely with accurate documentation.
